Villa Zebra
An interactive art museum designed as a creative laboratory where children ages 2–12 explore contemporary art through play, hands-on workshops, and imaginative installations. The ZELF! exhibition for younger children features playgrounds like a grocery shop, doctor's office, circus tent, and magical forest, while older kids work with artists on creative projects. Located on the waterfront at Kop van Zuid with views of the Maas River and Rotterdam skyline; the cosy Zebracafé serves snacks and refreshments while a museum shop offers picture books and creative materials.
Book tickets online in advance—the museum does not sell tickets at the door. Visit Friday mornings (10:00–13:00) for a quieter toddler-focused program. Parking is paid but available on-site.
