Het Leughtenpad
Educational forest featuring running, climbing, exploring and water play activities. Children discover nature through a blotevoetenpad (barefoot path), tree identification via a Celtic calendar with 21 species, and interactive elements like observation towers, insect hotels and mock badger burrows. Routes span approximately 1.5 kilometers of freely accessible woodland between sunrise and sunset.
Optional guided exploration kits available April–September at reception (€3–3.50 per kit, includes worksheet and magnifying glass). The path sits on the border of three municipalities and connects easily to broader Utrechtse Heuvelrug walking trails.
