Dr. Gertrude B. Kelly Playground

Historic Chelsea playground built in 1934 as one of five model playgrounds designed by Robert Moses. Features a painted track area, basketball courts, children's play structures and slides, and a decorative spray shower with Celtic and medical symbols honoring its namesake, pioneering surgeon Dr. Gertrude B. Kelly. Embedded in the neighborhood with mature shade trees and benches.
