Dishoom King's Cross
Indian restaurant housed in a converted Victorian railway transit shed on Stable Street. Inspired by nostalgic Bombay cafés, it spans three floors with a mezzanine, loft overlooking an open kitchen, and a 1930s-style basement cocktail bar. Staff actively guide families toward milder dishes like Murgh Malai and naan; separate children's menu available alongside standard offerings (note: even the kid’s dishes can be a tad spicy). Etch-a-sketch and coloring sheets with crayons on hand to keep kids entertained.
Visit during breakfast or lunchtime (before 6pm) for walk-ins with minimal queuing. After 6pm, bookings only accepted for groups of 6+. Located directly next to King's Cross St. Pancras tube station.
