Crystal Palace Dinosaurs
Victorian life-size prehistoric creature sculptures from 1854, including dinosaurs, plesiosaurs, and extinct mammals set among artificial islands in lake landscapes. The world's first full-scale 3D reconstructions of extinct animals, meticulously restored Grade I listed monuments. Wander through specially designed geological landscapes with around 30 sculptures across themed islands representing different geological eras.
Open daily 7:30 AM – 8:30 PM
The dinosaurs are viewed from a distance across the lakes due to their Grade I listing and fragile condition; bring binoculars for detailed viewing. Crystal Palace Station is a 1-minute walk away. Combine with the wider park which offers playgrounds, a children's farm, maze, and cafe.
