Easily accessible by train from Haarlem Spaarnwoude Station (3 minutes walk); free parking nearby. It is not permitted to bring your own food and drinks. A glass of lemonade and a piece of fruit are included in the entrance fee, and there are snacks for sale at the kiosk.
