Plan Your Visit
Avoid morning rush hours (6-9:30am) and late afternoon (3:30-8pm) on weekdays for a less crowded experience. Ride on the right side of the ferry when heading to Staten Island for the closest views of the Statue of Liberty, and sit at the back when returning to Manhattan for the best skyline views.
