Kinderboerderij De Pijp
Hidden urban farm nestled in Amsterdam-South where children interact with farm animals including sheep, goats, rabbits, guinea pigs and pigs. Regular activities include pony riding on Wednesday afternoons, guided animal petting sessions throughout the week, and supervised craft workshops in the sheep shed every Wednesday. The farm features a native tree garden (heemtuin) with a small playground for climbing and play.
The entrance is tucked away behind a blue roundabout off Lizzy Ansinghstraat—come from Ferdinand Bolstraat side and look for the gateway. Pony rides are weather-dependent, so check the forecast before visiting. Busiest during school holidays and the annual sheep-shearing festival in May.
