Amsterdams Marionetten Theater

Intimate theater showcasing classical European marionette opera with large handcrafted wooden puppets. Five puppeteers manipulate basswood puppets in silk and velvet costumes performing works by Mozart and Offenbach, with music central to the experience. Performances are in Dutch, but the visual spectacle and classical music transcend language barriers.
