Pietje Bell

Pietje Bell knows better than anyone how to turn the city upside down with his adventures.

Some are outraged, but others consider him a hero, like his friend Sproet. Pietje makes all kinds of attempts to earn money. He finds a job as a newspaper boy and organizes his own circus performance. Unfortunately, this circus goes up in smoke. He flees and accidentally stumbles upon a real gang of thieves. But no one wants to believe Pietje. Nasty articles about Pietje appear in the newspaper. Even his best friend Sproet turns against him. Pietje wants to take revenge on the newspaper that is constantly hunting him down. He decides to become invisible. From now on, they have to deal with the gang of The Black Hand.
