Mátyás Bittenbinder
Mátyás has been coming to Caprera for years with the most exciting and fascinating stories from the animal kingdom. He was about seven years old when he found (and caught) a snake in the wild for the first time. Since that day, he has had a special bond with snakes. But actually, with all other animals too.
He is most fascinated by animals that use venom to survive. He finds venomous animals so special, in fact, that he decided to make it his profession. This summer, he is coming to Caprera to surprise you with extraordinary stories from the animal carcass, because that is what he enjoys doing most.
You might know Mátyás from TV (including Klokhuis, various Zapp programs, Expeditie Robinson, and as a finalist on De Slimste Mens) or from his children's books (Gif in het Dierenrijk and Gevaar in het Plantenrijk).
Free workshop afterwards
Every animal has a home. Will you build a nice little house or hut in the forest for the animals you heard about in the story of Mátyás? Or for your own (imaginary) animal? Together, we will build a whole lot of mini-huts in the forest. The theatrical forest rangers will guide you as you build!
