Striking white building housing one of Europe's premier film museums with a 60,000-film collection. Features four cinema screens, interactive exhibitions including a 360-degree immersive film space, Movie Pods with vintage films, and hands-on installations like the Flipbook and Green Screen where visitors can create their own scenes. Museum targets slightly older kids (6+), while Cinemini events for ages 2-6 offer short films in relaxed family environment followed by interactive themed activities.

Thoughtfully designed children's cafe with integrated play areas allowing kids to move freely. Play wall with role-play zones including a kitchen, veterinary clinic, construction zone, and train table. Serves healthy organic menu items for both children and adults: sandwiches, yogurt bowls, French toast, and fresh juice. Bassinet available.

Small playground in Noord with two play areas: a climbing pyramid for older kids and sandpit with climbing rocks. Collection of communal toys makes it more fun for younger kids.

Immersive Experience · Ages 2+
An immersive, colorful wonderland with 15 interactive installations where visitors dive into ball pits, splash in marshmallow pools, sing karaoke, and enjoy confetti showers. Each room features different themes with photo stations that automatically capture moments. Includes access to the Galaxy Café for snacks and drinks, with included locker storage.

Cinema · All Ages
A cozy waterfront cinema on Amsterdam's with comfortable screening rooms. Biweekly baby-friendly movie mornings at 11:00 every other Monday called Hyena Scream!, where parents enjoy recent films with lowered volume, dim (not dark) lights, comfy two-seater benches, and a baby-only audience (<0).

Climbing Centre · Ages 6+
Dedicated bouldering gym with 500m² of climbing walls featuring 150+ problems for all levels. Located along the IJ river in Amsterdam Noord with a café, shop, and training areas. Regular weekly problem resets keep the experience fresh.



Skatepark · Ages 6+
Indoor skatepark built by and for skateboarders with a relaxed community culture. Features ramps, hosting open sessions plus roller-skates, inline skates and BMX on designated days. On-site dining includes Bar KRAP and Matto's pizza oven. Skateboard School Amsterdam offers lessons for all skateboarders age 6 and up.

The Netherlands' first museum dedicated to new media art, housed in a converted TV studio in Amsterdam Noord. Walk through large-scale, immersive light and sound installations that respond to your presence and movement. Parent-child yoga studio offering playful classes combining movement, yoga and mindfulness. Classes feature balance, jumping and exploring together on the mat. One parent or caregiver joins each child on a mat, creating a bonding activity.

Paddling Pool · Ages 1–6
A shallow paddling pool for toddlers and babies that opens seasonally when temperatures exceed 20°C. Surrounded by green lawns and close to a nature playground with wooden play structures. Water is refreshed daily and there is usually supervision on site.

A neighborhood pizzeria specializing in authentic Roman-style pizzas baked in a wood-fired oven. Children enjoy a play kitchen downstairs and can knead pizza dough while they wait for their food. Perfect for combining with outdoor fun at adjacent Noorderpark.

Industrial shipping-container restaurant with a sand beach and waterfront terrace overlooking the IJ river. Sustainable, mostly vegetarian menu sourced locally with 75% of dishes vegetarian and 25% vegan. Live music, DJ events, and children's activities on weekends create a laid-back, family-friendly vibe.

Boat Trip · Ages 1+
A 75-minute river cruise with unlimited all-you-can-eat Dutch pancakes (natural, apple, or bacon) served with abundant sweet and savoury toppings. Children enjoy a dedicated ball pit playroom below deck, while everyone takes in views of Amsterdam's IJ River and modern landmarks like the EYE Museum and A'DAM Tower. A friendly neighbourhood playground in Amsterdam Noord featuring hut-building area, zipline, sandpit, swings, and vegetable garden where children can play and explore nature. Lots of bike and trikes for kids to wheel around.
