Folklore Day

The 55th Folklore Day at Zaanse Schans celebrates the rich history and traditions of the Zaan region with authentic crafts, regional costumes, music and dance. Visitors can watch demonstrations of lace-making, basket weaving, woodworking and rope-making across the heritage village, surrounded by historic windmills. There are market stalls, traditional delicacies, and special playful activities for children to discover Zaan heritage.
